UnderWraps Automotive loves 3M Paint Protection Film because it is the best on the market and has been for nearly 60 years. While we would love to stick to one manufacturer of automotive vinyl wrap, the colors offered by the manufacturers, and the colors desired by our clients, are ultimately what dictates the brand of film we apply to your vehicles surface. 3M, Avery Dennison, Orafol, and Hexis are the films UnderWraps Automotive prefer to install on our customers cars with color offering, tackiness, workability, and ease of install being the driving factors behind these choices. With that said, we are more than happy to install other brands of automotive vinyl wrap only if our customers are married to a color they offer.

Just as 3M is the industry leader, and first, in Paint Protection Film, they were the first to produce Automotive Window Film as well. First produced and manufactured in 1966, 3M has continued to research and reinvest their efforts to make a better product time and time again. Since the 1960's, 3M has grown from window tint being a privacy to those inside the car to also including heat and UV rejection to the film. While both of these are amazing for humans, let's not forget the added protection the components inside of the car are also getting from this window tint. 3M's Automotive Window Film is derived from a Good, Better, Best product offering, and with that, are namely Obsidian (Good), Ceramic IR (Better), and Crystalline (Best).
